Rochester, Carter, Edelbrock and Weber QJets
Quadrajet carburetors were used as original equipment on cars and trucks from 1965 to 1990.
Most were built by the Rochester Division of General Motors, but some were also made by Carter. The Carter Quadrajets use the same kits, floats, choke pull offs and choke coils as the Rochester versions with the same carb number. Some QJets used Carter numbers. In the 1990s, QJets were made by Weber for marine use and were sold under the Edelbrock name into the 2000s.
The Carburetor Doctor has kits for all Quadrajets, including later model marine carbs and Edelbrock QJets. Click on a link below for more information and to order.

Quadrajet choke pull offs are shown with the make of engine they were used on. For example, VB81 is shown for Chevrolet because it was used only on Chevrolet-built engines, which were installed in Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, GMC trucks as well as Dodges and marine carbs. |
